I will forever love this movie

Why?

Because an underground post punk band, lead by Diane Lane, going on tour giving their philosophy ” we dont put out” while wearing see through clothes and just underwear as bottoms is epic. What other movie has 2 sex pistols members( paul cook and steve jones) and a member of the Clash (paul simonon) as a band and lead by Ray Winstone pre- ” im the villain in everything”? I love this movie, if you can find a copy, watch it!

“Streets of Fire”

tribute to cult films part 2

Another movie that originally bombed when it was in theaters. A hybrid of the 50s and the 80s, about a singer(Diane Lane) who is kidnapped by a gang leader(Willem Dafoe) and its up to her ex-( Michael Pare) to bring her back safely. Along the way his numbers grow with the inclusion of a female soldier( Amy Madigan), the new boyfriend( Rick Moranis), the “groupie” Baby doll (E.G Daily) and a motown group whose bus they hijack. Its sometimes a mess, alittle cliched, but theres a quality to it that makes it so unique and fun to watch, that you cant complain.
