“Streets of Fire”

Another movie that originally bombed when it was in theaters. A hybrid of the 50s and the 80s, about a singer(Diane Lane) who is kidnapped by a gang leader(Willem Dafoe) and its up to her ex-( Michael Pare) to bring her back safely. Along the way his numbers grow with the inclusion of a female soldier( Amy Madigan), the new boyfriend( Rick Moranis), the “groupie” Baby doll (E.G Daily) and a motown group whose bus they hijack. Its sometimes a mess, alittle cliched, but theres a quality to it that makes it so unique and fun to watch, that you cant complain.
